Nagarkot is one of the Village Development Committee. It is situate in Bhaktapur. This site lies east from Kathmandu valley. This village is situate in Bagmati Zone of Nagarkot Municipality. It is consider as the most scenic spot of Bhaktapur district. It is very popular hiking area among all. The scenic natural beauty of the place attracts tourist and tourism industry more. It gives a view of Kathmandu Vlley. It is know as spot to vies sunrise with Mountain View of Everest and many other Himalaya. This village is locate just 2000m above from sea level. Geography and Climate
The warmest month is May. The coolest month is January. Summer ranges from April to September. A lot of rain fall occurs in June, July, August, and September. Nagarkot has dry periods in January, February, November and December. July is the wettest month in this place.
How to Reach?
This valley is 32 km east from Kathmandu valley. It is 28 km far away from International Airport. Local Bus is easiest way of transportation fromKathmandu. It is also the cheapest way. It takes about 25 NPR from the station to Kamalbinayak of Bhaktapur. Public bus can be hire from Bhaktapur Bus stop located in east of Ratna Park. We can also hire Jeep/Car/taxi if we want.

Buddha Peace Park is open Public Park in Nagarkot. It is opened 24 hrs. It is spread in 4 hectares of land. It was established in 2013.
View Tower
It is most popular destination in Nagarkot. It is situated 2100 above sea level. We can view 360 views of Himalayas, greenery of national Parks, rolling hills etc. It is also use for sunrise hiking and sunrise view. Thick Pine forest and charming villages makes this place very naturally beautiful.
