Ghorepani Ghandruk Trek is most popular trekking in Annapurna region of Nepal.  Best sun rise views and amazing panoramic views from Poon hill.
One hour and fifteen minutes drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, which is a trekking starting point too. Trek Pass through Poonhill, Ghorepani, Ghandruk then back to Nayapul. Ghandruk Ghorepani Poonhill Treks is short Hiking trail, start from Pokhara which is also known evergreen trekking trail of Nepal.

Most Trekkers Hike up to the Poon hill top early in the Morning before to sun rises for mesmerizing view of sunrise and golden color views on Mountain. In the short time, you will get chance to see a Great panorama of views Mountain in a close distance. Like: Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu then so more Mountain.

About Pokhara

Pokhara is a sub-metropolitan and the second largest city of Nepal. Pokhara is headquarter of Gandaki Zone and Kaski District. It is located 200 km. of west from Kathmandu.   • Arrival to TIA airport. Pick up from there then check in to hotel in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu.
  • By tourist bus to Pokhara. (850m)
  • Pokhara to Tikhedhunga(1577m)
  • Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani(2870m)
  • Ghorepani/ Poon hill to Tadapani(2710m)
  • Tadapani to Pokhara via Ghandruk

  • Arrival to TIA airport. Pick up from there then check in to hotel in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu.
    Our team member will be waiting outside the airport terminal a few meters from the exit door. Please check your name at Showcard. He will bring you to hotel in Kathmandu. The drive from the airport to the hotel is around 20 minutes.After refreshment, we will brief your plan more visibly.
  • By tourist bus to Pokhara. (850m)
    The Bus journey will take 6 to 7 hours.Pokhara is set in a lovely valley at the foot of the Machapuchare so you get spectacular views of the mountains from all parts of the town. It is quite different then Kathmandu, it has plenty of scenic attractions and is close to the mountains. Here is some interesting short walks or bicycle rides inPokhara, you can swim and canoe on Lake Phewa or just watch the last rays of the sun stream across the dip in the mountains that hold the lake. Along the lakeside road there is a continuous stretch of small hotels, restaurants and shops; it’s an area which still has a bit of the old hippy scene felt about it.
  • Pokhara to Tikhedhunga(1577m)
    (Trekking: approximately 4 hours) After breakfast take a bus ride to Nyapul(trek starting point) for one hour than trek to Birethanti for 30minates where trekking permit and national park permit will be checked. The trail continues along the BhurungdiKholapasing through small villages and water fall you will reach a small village called Tikhedhunga. Where you will spend a nights.
  • Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani(2870m)
    (Trekking: approximately 4 hours) After crossing the suspension bridge over the BhurungdiKhola, you will have to start a steep ascent to Ulleri( 2073m)using a continues stone steps. This is the hardest ascent in this course. From Ulleri trail continues gradually uphill through small village and Rhododendron forest you will be in Ghorepani. Somewhere in middle place called Banthanti there can have lunch too.
  • Ghorepani/ Poon hill to Tadapani(1190m)
    (Trekking: approximately 6 hours) Weak up early to climb up Poon Hill, to watch a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas, panoramic view of Snow Mountain, best valley view.  We return to Ghorepani for breakfast. We then continue to Tatopani(hot spring), trekking through open grassland and farmland. The views are the same as the previous afternoon but the sunrise adds a further dimension and many travellers will consider this to be one of the main highlights of the trip. The ascend path clears every so often, providing absolutely beautiful views of the Dhaulgiri, Nillgiri& Annapurna’s.
  • Tadapani to Pokhara via Ghandruk
    Tadapani, the trail decently down through forests to Ghandruk. Here are Gurung people which are the ethnic groups of Nepal. From Ghandruk village easy walking all downhill to Nayapul then we take a short drive to Pokhara by private car.
  • Pokhara Sight seen 
    Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200 km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure with several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. So today the city has not only become the starting point for most popular trekking and rafting destinations but also a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
  •  Return back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The bus journey will take 5 to 6 hours.
