This houses the Saligrama shila considered to be the naturally available form of Sriman Narayana the Hindu Godhead. It is also one of the 51 Shakti peethams.The Buddhists call it Chumig Gyatsa, which in Tibetan means ‘Hundred Waters’. Although the temple is has a Vaishnava origin. For Tibetan Buddhists, Muktinath-Chumig Gyatsa is a very important place of Dakinis, goddesses known as Sky Dancers and one of the 24 Tantric places. They understand the murti to be a manifestation of Avalokitesvara.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva. Built in the 5th century and later renovat by Malla kings. The site itself is said to have exist from the beginning of the millennium when a Shiva lingam was discover here. The largest temple complex in Nepal, it stretches on both sides of the Bagmati River which is consider holy by Hindus. The main pagoda style temple has a gilded roof, four sides covered in silver, and wood carvings of the finest quality. Reach to Jomsom. It is a major village in the Mustang area. From Jomson it will take about 3hours to arrive in Kagbeni via EkleBhatti. The houses in Kagbeni are flat roofed in the Tibetan style. Here you can pray beside the river side then you can head for Muktinath, the sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. There are some things worthy of a special mention. There is the water wall which consists of fine streaks of water 108 spouts. The water springs out through rocks. Surrounded by this water wall, the main temple stands of Vishnu. After those worship we can descent down back to jomsom by same jeep.
