The hotel accommodation is selected by the guides and you will service with the food available on the menu. A Typical Day on Tea House Trek:
Normally our day on Tea House Trek starts around 7.00 am, you can have your breakfast in your guest house like porridge/muesli/cornflakes and biscuits with tea/coffee depending on your choice. After breakfast, porter carries all luggage and equipment. All you need to carry in your day-pack are water bottle, rain/wind jacket, camera and other small items you may need on the trail.
After waling for 3-4 hours we will have rest for lunch at around midday. In the afternoon walking is generally shorter and we usually arrive at our destination in time for afternoon tea. The remainder of the afternoon can be spent exploring the village, doing a bit of washing or simply relaxing with a good book. After dinner, the evening will often be spent playing cards and reliving the day’s adventures, before retiring for a well-earned sleep. Other day activities are the same as mentioned above. Each day’s hike is planned so that trekkers have time to see, photograph and explore the countryside. Anyone who is healthy, fit, enjoys the outdoors and hiking will qualify to participate in our treks.
Accommodation on Tea House Trek:
The teahouse trek offers neat and clean rooms on twin sharing basis. Hot water is not available on all places and need to pay extra. The rooms are basic, normally just a bed with a pillow and blankets. A few have electric lights and all have a spacious dining room-lounge. We will accommodate you and your group in local lodge available each day. Please remember that some of them are very basic and a sense of adventure is necessary. Now some part of the trekking while in Annapurna region and Everest region good hotels are also available.
Food on Teahouses:
Food on local teahouses are fresh and hygienic in lower part but it might not fresh in upper part of the remote Himalayas. However the hygiene is the primary concern and we provide you the same. Teahouses offer a variety foods, for breakfast, Toast, different styles of eggs, pancake, porridge, Muesli with milk, and other creels, For lunch and dinner, variety of potato, different curries, rice, noodles and pasta, pizza, spring roll, Nepali food and others food, as well as soup and seasonal vegetables. Snack like biscuits, snicker and Mars and other chocolates, basic biscuits and soft drinks are available, you can find seasonal fresh fruit also in some areas. In most of the teahouse you will have option to select the food from the menus in which Nepalese, Chinese, Western and Indian foods are available. Be prepare for compromise about food which available on the menus. You might not have many choices in the remote part during the trek.
