When you arrive in Kathmandu airport, our agency representative will be waiting for you in the airport holding our company and your name play card. From airport our agency representative will escort you to the 5 star hotel, which is specially booked for you. The sharp early in the morning we will take the flight to Lukla (2827m). The flight time is about 40 minutes approx flying parallel to giant Himalayan Mountains bordering Nepal and China (Tibet). After the exciting mountain flight we will land at the runway built by Sir Edmund Hillary and the Sherpas in the mid-1960s. While our staff crew sort and load trekking equipment we will explore the beautiful Sherpa village. Around afternoon we will head star our trek by descend through DudhKosi River and we will join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m) at Thalsharoa (2680m). As it the starting point of the trekking so, trail is easy. Then we will pass through the many small village like, chheplung, Thadokoshi goon, Nurning ,chhuthaea, Dukdingma(2492m), then to the Phakding. Here we will have the night stay at the yeti mountain home or similar hotel.

From Phakding village we will ascendant through the river to up to the valley, throughout The trail we get to explore the river valley, beautiful blue pine and rhododendron forest which is highlights of spring months. We gradually cross the DudhKosi River at Benkar and get the glimpses of the tantalizing snow-capped peaks of KusumKanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). After the short walk from the Benkar we will reach Monjo (2835m), where we reserve some time for our lunch. From little bit of the rest and stuffing our Tummy we will ascent through little tougher trail and entrance of the national park to Namche Bazaar. After crossing a large and stable suspension bridge high above the DudhKosi River, we slowly ascend at a steady pace to the NamcheBajaar where we will the glimpseof the some fantastic photographic opportunities from the top, as the peaks of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Taweche. inNamche Bazaar we will have night stay at the yeti mountain home or similar hotel.

After spending the night at the 480 household populations we will got out to explore the capital of the khumbu region atyeti mountain home or similar hotel. While exploring the namche bazaar we will get know that namche has the dense population of the Sherpa community. We will be fascinated by the cultural and the tradition of the wonderful Sherpa community. The whole day we will be exploring and preparing for the next day tougher trek. It is recommended that you take the opportunity to see both the sunrise and sunset views from the national park headquarters above the village. The stunning vista includes a superb panorama of the Khumbu peaks and great views of Everest. After breakfast, a variety of options exists. Perhaps a walk towards Thami (3810m) above the beautiful BhoteKhola River Valley or a visit to the national park headquarters to see the interesting displays of Sherpa lifestyle and culture. There is also a mountaineering display and information on the park’s flora and fauna. Your guides are one hand to offer advice and escort you on walks.

This is one of the significant days of the trek. We will move on from Namche Bazar to reach Tengboche which takes just about 5 hours. En-route, we can visit Tengboche Monasteries lying at the height of 3860m and this is the maximum point of the entire trek. We will walk on a rather plane trail and get an opportunity to mark the magnificence of splendid Mt. Everest, AmaDablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Thamserku, Khangtaiga. We may also spot wild lives like musk deer, multicolored pheasant (National bird) on the way. Overnight at Yeti Mountain home or similar hotel.

Early morning, after breakfast we will move on to Dingboche (4410m). The air starts to become thin significantly from here. It’s approximately a 4 hour long trek to Dingboche. We head towards our ultimate goal, the Everest base camp. We cross the Imja valley and few Sherpa villages. We will spend the night here in Dingboche at the Yeti Mountain home or similar hotel.

In the morning we ascend the small ridge behind the village above the Pheriche valley. From the top, Tabuche(6367m) and Cholatse (6335m) make for a striking scene, as they seem to lean forwards from across the valley in the west. Now, from this day, the path will be quite difficult in compared to others. The path will be full of uphill trails and air will be thin as we move to place with high altitudes. On the way, you can see the graveyards of climbers who didn’t make it to their destination while conquering the mountains of Everest region. Many places choose to stay at Lobuche to acclimatize their body for the way to Everest Base Camp.

As the trek to GorakShep is relatively short, we have the opportunity for a leisurely breakfast before beginning the day’s walk From Lobuche. The trail is flat but it is difficult to cover because of high altitude and thin air. We will walk along one of the giant glaciers of the world present in Khumbu region. Once we reach Everest Base Camp, you will have the experience of your lifetime and have the clear view of mountains like Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Amadablam& numbers of other small peaks. In Everest Base Camp you can see the gravestones of various climbers who lost their lives while conquering the mountains of Everest region including Mt. Everest. Then after having our moment in Everest Base Camp, we will make our way down towards Gorakshep.The return journey from the Base Camp to GorakShep takes the same amount of time. We have an early dinner so that we are able to get up early the next day for awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan giants from KalaPathar.

This day our goal is to reach the top of Kalapathar in the morning. Kalapatthas provides you the most stunning view n morning. The reason behind calling this place Kalapatthar is that there are only black rocks and no snow. The view of Mt. Everest from Kala Patthar is imaginative as it is very far from the distance. The Mt. Everest hides behind 2 other mountains reason for people calling it a shy mountain. After our moment in Kalapatthar, we will descend to reach Pheriche via Gorakshep.

In the early in the morning after Breakfast, we descend steeply through beautiful forest of juniper, rhododendron and fir till PhunkiTenga (3250m). After a welcome break and perhaps a cup of tea too then we cross the DudhKosi River’s bridge and ascend to Trashinga (3380m) & continue ascend till Kyangjuma (3550m). Here can have lunch break. Gently flat way descends till to NamcheBazzer. We enjoy a leisurely departure from Namche Bazaar with a final opportunity to visit the shops in the bazaar. Today we will have the night stay at Yeti Mountain home or similar hotel.

From Namche Bazaar we descend slowly down through large suspension bridge over the DudhKosi River. We follow the trail through Jorsale and back to Monjo. In the afternoon it is a short walk via Benkar through blue pine and rhododendron forest, with great views of KusumKangaru(6367m), where we take lunch in Phakding. This is our last day of trekking, where it is only on the valley before making the final climb up to the airstrip at Lukla. Perhaps enjoy a hot shower! In the evening we enjoy a farewell dinner, followed by a few celebratory drinks and dancing with our teams.

We rise early in the morning to be ready for the arrival of our aircraft for the flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu we are met and transferred back to our starting hotel.

The journey comes to an end today! A representative from Nepal Trekking in Himalayas will drop us off at the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight.

1. How difficult are the treks?

It depends on the individuals’ adaptation of walking in any situation and at any circumstances. It depends on the location and choice of trekkers. Both difficult as well as easy treks are available. Difficulty of the treks depends on the region of the trek and duration of it. Shorter treks tend to be easier while longer ones require some physical fitness.

2. How safe Women traveling alone with your company?

Completely, we assure the safety and security of the women travelling with us. We will provide the privacy that the women need. We will also give you a personal room on lodge and personal tent for camping while trekking.

3. What is tea house trekking?

Tea House Trek – is a trek during which at the end of each trekking day you stay for overnight in Tea Houses. “Trekking Guide Team Adventure” also organizes Camping Treks during which you stay for overnight in tents which our guides will set up for you and food during such treks will be cooked by our experienced cook.

4. Can I get Nepal visa on arrival?

Yes, you can get it in Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. As you arrive to airport fill the form and proceed to the visa line. You have to pay 25US$ for 15 days of visa from the day of issue, 40US$ for 30days and 100US$ for 90 days of tourist visa. For this you have to bring two passport size photos.

5. What is the best air route to my destination?

There are enough airline companies operating daily flights from Middle East of Kathmandu. Kathmandu only has got only international airport in Nepal so, where ever you are coming from you must come through tribhuvan international airport.

6. What type of insurance should I have before come to Nepal? Can I get it there?

For coming to Nepal you should have both medical and Rescue evacuation insurance. Yes you can get it here too, but we recommend purchasing it in your own country to avoid any last minute hassle and basal.

7. When should I travel to Nepal?

In Nepal it rains a lot between Junes to August. You too can enjoy great treks during this period of year in rain shadow region. But if you planning for more popular trek autumn and spring is the best time. As during this period climate will be moderate and will favorable for the trekking.

8. What kinds of banking facilities in Nepal?

Nepal has modern banking facilities having branches of some international bank. Almost all foreign currency along with credit card such as American Express, Visa and Master card are accepted. Nepal also has ATM facilities.

9. When should I book my trip?

We suggest you to book your trip in advance to avoid the disappointment and hassles. We too will make an effort to accommodate last minute bookings but some time due to the last minute planning we may unintentionally make few mistake which may offend you so it will be better to do advance booking.

10. Is someone going to meet me at the airport? Are transfers included?

11. How much spending money should I bring?

This depends on the destination you will be at and package, facilities you may choose . However our trip profile will give you information about how to budget form additional meals, optional excursions and extra expenses that might occur in any specific trip.

Since we are Nepal based company we refer to arrange your international flights from your home town. But domestic flight ticket will be included in our package. Other help like river rafting, city guided tour, mountain flight, jungle safari will be provided according to your necessities.

13. What is the physical conditioning level needed for trekking?

If you are in good physical condition then you do not require any hiking experience for short trekking. But if you are planning for the longer ones then you should do long day hikes at your home.

14. Is a Trekking permit needed?

Permit is not required for trekking in Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and some other regions. However, conservation permits or National park permits are required. There are few restricted trekking areas in Nepal where trekking permits are required.

15. Are the food / water safe to eat / drink?

All the meals are prepared with high standards of hygiene, fruit and vegetables are soaked in iodine before preparation. Most of lodges serve boiled and filter water which is safe. It is also possible to buy the bottle of mineral water in the trek.

16. What happens if there is an emergency?

All of our guides are trained with first aid and have basic idea about the physical problems that may arise during trekking. If an emergency occur then we will cover initial expenses of rescue operation as these expenses will need to be recovered from your insurance company. For minor cases there are health posts established by foreign doctors and many are staffed by overseas personnel.

17. What are your payment terms?

You need to pay 30% of total price as advance deposit to conform reservation before arriving to Nepal. Rest of the payment can be paid after arrival.

18. Can we bring some food from home?

You can bring power bars, cereal bars and similar high energy foods, powder Gatorade is also recommended to fight dehydration.

19. Is there any communication when we are on the mountain?

In the way in many villages along the popular trekking routes you can find telephones from where you can make international calls. And now a days we have the internet facilities most of the trekking destination.

20. What’s the difference between trekking, hiking and mountain climbing?

You can do all day walk, where you stay overnight (or several nights) at three activities in Nepal, but they are quite different things. Trekking is a multi-the place you’ve walked to.
Hiking generally refers to a one-day walk. It might be two hours or eight, but if it takes place within a single day, it’ll probably be referred to as a hike.
Mountain climbing is another thing entirely. It takes special equipment, training and comes with more risk. Neither trekking nor hiking require any special skill, other than the ability to walk.
