Best Places to Visit inside Kathmandu Valley was one of the biggest lake on incent period. Buddhist monks come and cut of hill of chobar then it became nice settlement by time. It carries up million year’s history of Kathmandu. Kathmandu durbar square has one big Kasthamandup (which was build by one tree wood) Building because of it the hole valley called Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu valley is representative of Temple city as well.  It has more than 100 sports to visit, among them major of 8 places I would like to describe here bellow.

Thamel;

Thamel is a commercial tourist hub of Kathmandu, Nepal. The several of shop, hotels, restaurants, spas, massage centers and travel agencies are together with you in thamel. Its crowded zone in Friday, manly young couples come for Good Friday. This small hub will provide verity of service whatever you want.  Free entrance and shopping center.

Kathmandu Durbar square;

The history of Kathmandu is started from long time like 500 AD. Kathmandu Durbar Square is known as basantapur Durbar square as well which is situated in capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu! It was a kingdom of Nepal before royal palace was shifted to Narayanhiti. It has carry up many different statue and temple because of that UNESCO Listed on World Heritage sites as well. The earth quake has damage around all temple and palaces. It has almost 15 monuments which has own named, meaning and dated.  The entrance fee for foreigner RS1000, SAARC country RS150.

Patan Durbar Square;

The history of Patan Durbar Square is not clear. Whatever the Malla Kings has got credit for establishing the royal square. The history of Patan has built a palace by Thakuri Dynasty. Academic people are convinced that Patan was a wealthy city since ancient times. From the Malla King did make important changes to the Durbar square. Most of the current architecture is from the 1600s, constructed during the reign of King Siddhinarasimha Malla and his son Srinivasa sukriti. It’s really wealth to visit in Nepal. It is also listed on World Heritage sites. It is 20 minutes drive from center Thamel, Kathmandu. The entrance fee for foreigner RS500, SAARC country RS150.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square;

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, from the Malla dynasty. It is a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located eastern part of Kathmandu. It’s must of monuments are build Bhadgaon(Nepali architecture) style. The ancient palace area is informally known as the Bhaktapur Durbar Square and is a highly visited site in the Kathmandu Valley. It is still popular for Thangka (written picture of Buddhism) Painting. The entrance fee for foreigner RS1500, SAARC country RS500.

Pashupatinath;

The Pashupatinath Temple is a biggest, sacred Hindu temple dedicated in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is north-east of Thamel, Kathmandu. The temple serves as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. This temple listed on UNESCO, World Heritage Sites’s since 1979. This wide Hindu temple precinct is an extensive collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscription. The sacred Bagmati River is beside of it. The major Festival of the temple is Maha Shivaratri. On that day over 800,000 devotees used to visit. It is one of the best places to visit.

Boudhanath;

Boudhanath located north-east of Thamel Kathmandu, Nepal. The massive Stupa is the largest spherical stupa in Nepal. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. It is one of the largest stupa in the world too. The construction of over 50 gompas (Tibetan convent) around Boudhanath. Boudhanath is on UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. It is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area. Their entrance fee for foreigner is Rs. 400. Stupa to the ancient and smaller stupa of Little Boudhanath. Tibetan merchants have rested and offered prayers here for many centuries. The Stupa is said to entomb the remains of Kassapa Buddha.

Swayambhu Nath;

It is an ancient religious architecture in a top of hill in the Kathmandu Valley which is located west of Thamel Kathmandu. Swayambhu occupies a central position. It is probably the most sacred place among Buddhist pilgrimage sites. The Swayambhu complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples. Some of them have dating back to the Lichhavi period. The stupa has Buddha’s eyes and eyebrows painted on. There are also shops, restaurants and hostels on the top beside of temple. Buddha eyes wisely looking out over the peaceful valley which was just beginning to come alive. Much of Swayambhu iconography comes from the Vajrayana tradition of Newar Buddhism. However, the complex is also an important site for Buddhists of many schools, and is also revered by Hindus. It is listed on World heritage site since 1979. The entrance cost 250 for foreigner.

Chagu Narayan;

The ancient Hindu temple of Changu Narayan is located on east of Thamel Kathmandu. The temple was surrounded by forest with trees and a small village. Village has known as Changu. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Visnu and held in especial respect by the Hindu people. This temple is considered as the oldest temple in the history of Nepal. It is known as best side seen sport.
