We immediately warmed to Shalik’s kind nature, eagerness to accommodate and since our hike and overnight stay consider Shalik a life long friend. The afternoon hike up to Nagarkot and over night stay is a wonderful introduction for someone who wants to experience Nepals mountainous beauty but has not got the time for a full trekking expedition. The Nagarkot accommodation was more than satisfactory with views of amazement from the hotel. The memory’s of the sunset from the peak will stay with me for life and already looking forward to my return to Nepal and using Trekking In Nepal for a full on trekking experience.
