Badimalika is located in Bajura district. It lies in Far-western region of Nepal. The destination is newly introduce trekking trails explore by TAAN (Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal). Badimalika Temple locate in this site is major attraction of this people. This temple is dedicate to Lord Bhagwati. Thousands of people visit this place in occasion of Nepali festival Janai Purnima which falls in August. The temple is located in top of the hill. The temple is on the altitude of 4200 meter. They perform different dances like Deuda, Thadi, Bhawo, etc. according to their culture and tradition. Indian people are observe in the temple in festival. Badimalika offers best natural landscapes, cultural village and different green shorts flora and fauna. One can adventure within the green hills and landscape. Badimalika explores the nature with Khaptad National park around Bajura. It is remote and less explored trail for trekking.
Trekking is accessible throughout whole year. In winter, one may get path slippery. The weakness of place is Badimalika face huge snowfall in winter. The trekking trail is very difficult. The trail is seem unique like others. It’s new and familiar for all trekkers. You can hire local trekking guiders if you confuse the trail path and to get information about the place. There are tea house and lodges in the lower regions for accommodation.
