As you will departure in Kathmandu. Your trek begins from the Kathmandu. Annapurna Base Camp trek begins from Pokhara. You can travel Pokhara from Kathmandu either by bus or flight. Difficulty in finding Lodges and Tea-house

So, to walk towards the Annapurna base camp trek you need to enter the Annapurna conservation area where you need permit. The whole process requires 4 passport size photo and photocopy of passport. You need to pay US $20/ person for permit of Annapurna conservational area.
