Jaljala-The Hidden Treasure of Nepal
Jaljala Trekking is located in Rolpa district. Rolpa lies on Mid-Western part of Nepal. This region is potentially most interested tourism destination of Nepal. This temple is dedicate to Lord Bhagwati. Thousands of people visit this place in occasion of Nepali festival Janai Purnima which falls in August. The temple is located in top of the hill. The temple is on the altitude of 4200 meter. They perform different dances like Deuda, Thadi, Bhawo, etc. according to their culture and tradition. Indian people are also observed in the temple during festival. Badimalika offers best natural landscapes, cultural village and different green shorts flora and fauna. This trail name was formed after the name of highlight trekking destination Lumba Sumba Peak. Lumba Sumba peak is 5200m high. This trail leads to the eastern part of Nepal. This peak is major destination of trek. The trek runs through Kanchanjunga Conservational Area from the Himalayas. Trekkers can enjoy the traditional farming of the area. It offers the beautiful Himalayan landscapes which is most spectacular. The route of trekking is home for many ethnic groups like Limbus, Sherpas, Gurung, Tamang, and Magars. Trekkers trekking this route can view beautiful endangered snow leopards and wildlife species. Red panda is mostly viewed.
The specialty in this route is that, this route explores to two Nepal’s best preserved protected areas-the Kanchanjunga Conservation Area and Makalu Barun National park. Dolpa has the deepest lake ‘Phoksundo’. Phoksundo Lake is the lake situated in the high altitude of the world. It is district is behind the Himalayan Mountains so which it gets little rain. The area covered by high hills makes most inhospitable in Nepal, the majestic hills lend a rare beauty that is absolutely amazing.
