I am Tim from the USA, I booked my trekking tour through Nepal Trekking, and Shalik was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. I told him how many days I wanted to trek and where I wanted to go, and he then set up an excellent itinerary. When I arrived in Kathmandu, he picked me up from the airport, took to me to my hotel, and treated me to a delicious dinner.
The next morning I was introduced to my guide, Nanda, and we then began our 14 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Nanda was fantastic, and extremely helpful as well. I did go during the rainy season (June and July), which wasn’t ideal, it didn’t ruin my experience. Nepal is a fascinating, beautiful, and friendly country – regardless of what time of year year you can come.
I am already talking about a 2nd trip to Nepal, with Nepal Trekking and Shalik, because even though Nepal is a small country, there is just so much to see.
