This Annapurna Sunrise Trekking starts with a 6-7 hour bus ride from Kathmandu through forests and agricultural hilly country to the beautiful metropolitan city Pokhara of beautiful Phewa Lake with the 80 km Annapurna Range rising to the north.
After breakfast, we drive 1½h along a winding hill-road takes you to Nayapul (which the starting point of the all classic Annapurna base camp trek. From there we hike through dense forests of rhododendron, oak and maple as the path ascends to the prosperous village of Ghorepani.
Then Annapurna base camp move forward through steep walk to the summit of Poon Hill (3210m) from where you will be rewarded with a spectacular sunrise that highlights the ice-clad giants above. From there trail continues to the east to offer Great Mountain views from the ridges .This Trekking route of Annapurna Sunrise Trek follows the easy days trek to Tadapani and then the larger village of Ghandruk (the beautiful ethnic village).
