Namche Bazaar is formally Village Development Committee. It lies in Solukhumbu district of Province no.1. It is the starting point of gateway to Everest. This town is also market town for import and export of tourist goods, like trekking equipments. Namche is more famous for homemade yak cheese and butter. It is also the major attraction of tourists. There is high possibility of altitude sickness in this region. Namche Bazaar is the capital of Khumbu region, in Nepal. It is also the point of trading.
